Constanza is a Chilean costume designer for stage and film, born and raised in Santiago de Chile (1978).

She obtained her degree in Theatre Design in 2002 from Universidad de Chile. She then received her Master’s degree in Costume Design from Tisch School for the Arts in New York University in 2012.
Constanza approaches costume design as an opportunity to tell a story through the power of colour, texture and silhouette. She appreciates engaging collaborations and active dialogues in the process of creating ideas and images for the stage.
Recent credits as costume designer include Jenufa at Theater Freiburg (January ’25), Luisa Miller at Luzerner Theater (May’25), , Rigoletto at Aalto Theater Essen (September ’25), Die Ameise at Theater Bonn (December '25) and Turandot at Staatstheater Nürnberg (January '26).
In 2024 she designed the costumes for Richard III at the Kammeroper Wien and in previous years she also designed the costumes for Rusalka and Hänsel und Gretel at Theater Freiburg; Rigoletto at Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile and Macbeth at Oper Graz in Austria. She also had the opportunity to design the costumes for What a Feeling, her first European feature film.
Other credits as costume designer include: Undine (2015) and Persinette (2019), both at the Vienna State Opera, Don Carlos at Kammeroper Wien (2018), Le Nozze di Figaro at MUK, Vienna (2019), Das schlaue Füchslein at Theater Freiburg (2021) and Midsummer Summer Night's Dream at Theater Akzent in Vienna (2022).
She is looking forward for the upcoming season 26/27!
