Constanza is a Chilean costume designer for stage and film. She obtained her degree in Theatre Design in 2002 from Universidad de Chile. She then received her Master’s degree in Costume Design from Tisch School for the Arts in New York University in 2012.

Constanza approaches costume design as an opportunity to tell a story through the power of colour, texture and silhouette. She appreciates engaging collaborations and active dialogues in the process of creating ideas and images for the stage.

In 2023 she designed the costumes for Rusalka and Hänsel und Gretel at Theater Freiburg;  Rigoletto at  Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile and Macbeth at Oper Graz. She also had the opportunity to design the costumes for What a Feeling, her first european film, written and directed by Kat Roher and produced by Geyrhalter Filmproduktion.

Other credits as costume designer include: Undine (2015) and Persinette (2019), both at the Vienna State Opera, Don Carlos (2018) and Richard III (2024) at Kammeroper Wien, Le Nozze di Figaro at MUK, Vienna (2019), Cunning Little Vixen at Freiburg Theatre (2021), Midsummer Summer Night's Dream at Theater Akzent (2022).
